Roz is a woman who overcame the odds. She came from an abusive home from a father who told her she would never amount to anything. She lost everything 3 times, was in 4 car accidents and yet she has overcome every obstacle in her life and is on her way to becoming an icon in the industry.
Roz Shepard has created a platform to share her struggles and triumph with the world and help others overcome their tribulations. Integrity, principles and faith in the Lord have shaped Roz into the woman she is today. She wrote 2 books titled Relationship 101 and No Pain, No Gain, developed a youth leadership and music academy that is connected to the United Nations. In addition she represented a UN Diplomat who is now teaching her UN protocol. She plans to meet with Presidents of other countries when her global promotional tour begins to promote the release of her CD. She has loved music since childhood and began singing at an early age. Her early influences were Aretha Franklin, Gladys Knight and Chaka Khan. As she got older her main musical influence was Whitney Houston. She finally overcame her shyness of singing when she sang Whitney’s chart-topper “You Give Good Love” at Disney Land. With her angelic voice and melodic flow she will rightfully take her place among other industry greats to fill the void left by the loss of Whitney Houston. In addition to being a talented vocalist she is a motivational speaker and entrepreneur. She has many projects in the works. One in particular that provides global exposure to artists and entrepreneurs who have projects and need a platform for exposure. She is excited to share her talents with the world. Ms. Shepard’s message to the world is clear. “Don’t let anyone determine what you can or cannot do. Don’t let barriers of age, race, physical state or any other dictate how far or how high you can go in life. When planning your life, make a commitment to yourself to create the life you dream about while building the life that responsibilities dictate. You never know how far your dreams will take you or whose life you will change for the better because you fulfilled what was truly in your heart.” http://Rozshepard.com http://facebook.com/roz.shepard Roz Shepard Facebook Fan page http://www.twitter.com/RozShepard Kenya is a Singer/Songwriter who is native to New York. She has opened for several A-List celebrities and is gaining fast popularity in the music industry.
Kenya Placido attributes her initial flirtation with singing to the opportunity that she had, like many young vocalists, to singing in the church choir. Kenya has grown up from singing in the pulpit at church to belting her heart out amongst the likes of Jill Scott, Brian McKnight and the Black Eyed Peas, to name a few. Her angelic voice mesmerizes her fans and keeps them yearning for more. Her skills have pushed her from behind the pulpit to singing backup for international stars. Clearly her drive and determination is paying off. Now her voice has propelled her from the back of the stage to shine, and we couldn’t be happier that her stage has expanded, especially since she has a love for the East Bay. Although you can’t catch this vocalist at your next Sunday service, you will be able to buy her long awaited solo album in the near future! Whether she is pursuing her solo career, singing in association with famous artists, or getting international air play, this diva is the real deal. She has the full package, as she co-produces her own tracks, writes and arranges her songs, and dances. Kenya is currently working on recording her debut album entitled “Reflections”. Currently Kenya is under Ruthless Alliance Management and is ASCAP certified. FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE PRLog (Press Release) - Jan 04, 2012 - Author Virginia (Ginny) Scales-Medeiros explores the eternal question, "What is Normal “What is Normal?” is a dramatic fictional novel based on the inspiring true story of Sue. Normal for Sue growing up was being a teenage high school dropout of teenage parents, being molested by a relative, backwoods living, strict Baptist upbringing, poorly made clothes, even living in a trailer that is now a chicken coop. Later, normal is discovering the power of lying, stealing, alcohol, and drugs. Normal is mastering the art of selling, making headline news, patenting a new invention and landing in a movie, reaching in the end not a "normal", but an authentic life. Author Virginia (Ginny) Scales-Medeiros is a entrepreneur, inventor and marketing consultant. She said current events helped inspire her to write "What is Normal?" She wanted to write a story that would motivate people to overcome their blocks and find their true callings. Many will relate to her book. “When I see things like the Occupy Wall Street movement, Occupy Together,” said Scales-Medeiros, “millions of people must be asking themselves, "What is Normal?" What they need to do is work on their own dreams; get away from what society and the media are trying to feed us, and find what is real for them, like Sue in the book." Scales-Medeiros was born and raised in rural upstate New York and now resides in the San Francisco North Bay Area. Finishing only the ninth grade and getting her GED, she went on to become an entrepreneur, a real-estate investor, an inventor with multiple patents, and an advocate for animal rights.
